FAQ

What should I do on my cruise?

It is important to consider the places you wish to visit if you are looking for different ports of calls. This information can be used to narrow your search. For instance, if you love history, you might want a cruise that visits places such as Alaska, Bermuda, Canada, England, France, Greece, Italy, Mexico, Spain, Turkey, etc. You might prefer a cruise that includes beaches and water sports such as Jamaican, Aruba, Costa Rica or Panama, Tahiti or Costa Rica.

Do I have to tip my Cruise Director

This is dependent on the cruise line. Some cruise directors get tips, while others do not. You can ask the Cruise Director on board to find out whether they require tips. They will most likely tell you if tipping is expected.

What is cruising?

When you book a cruise, you pay a deposit (usually $50-$100) when you reserve your cabin. Your balance is due 30 days before departure. When you arrive at the port, you check into your cabin. Afterward, you may participate in one of the many onboard activities.

How To

How to avoid becoming seasick during a cruise

A hat can help prevent seasickness when you cruise. A wide-brimmed cap helps to prevent motion sickness by keeping your head from moving too much.

A hat can also keep water off the head, decreasing the amount of moisture in the air. This allows people who are prone to dizziness from inhaling moist air to breathe more easily.

Another tip is to drink lots of fluids. Avoid alcohol or caffeine. These drinks dehydrate the body and make it harder for fluids to move around the stomach. Salt levels can be decreased by drinking enough liquids. Salt causes the body's retention of water, which can lead to nausea.

If you do feel nauseous, try eating something salty. Salty foods stimulate the stomach to produce higher levels of hydrochloric acid. This helps to break down food particles.

These tips may not work. There are other medications that can be used to treat seasickness. Some medications can cause side effects like dry mouth, dryness, constipation, blurred sight, headaches, dry lips, dry skin, dry gums, dry lips, constipation, dry eyes, dry throat, dry skin, and constipation.
