cruise caribbean

Royal Caribbean cruise vessel, the Quantum of the Seas. It is the Quantum's flagship and the third-largest ship in the Quantum class. The ship currently operates in Alaska. The ship's most notable features are the North Star, an adult-only solarium and Dynamic Dining.

North Star

Quantum of the Seas' North Star feature allows guests to see 360 degrees of the world around them. Located on the top deck, this glass capsule is attached to a mechanical arm that can raise and lower it to 300 feet above sea level. It rotates 360 degrees and offers passengers a panoramic view across the ship's interior and the ocean. Its design is reminiscent of the London Eye, an iconic Ferris wheel.

The North Star can hold up to 14 passengers and a wheelchair passenger. It can extend over the side of the ship on sea days, but during port, the pod will not extend over the side of the ship. Crew members will close down the pod during bad weather and limit its movement. Reservations are encouraged, but not mandatory for this ride.

Skydiving

The iFly simulator allows passengers to experience the thrill of freefall and weightlessness in a glass flight chamber. The simulator is located on Deck 16 and provides an opportunity to experience the thrill of freefall. You can either take the class as a couple or separately. The instructor will guide guests through the experience and explain the basics. The experience is enjoyable for the whole family, and it is available on all Quantum class ships.

Dynamic Dining

Dynamic Dining has been launched by Quantum of the Seas, a brand new way to eat at the sea. The new dining concept gives guests more control over where, when, and with whom they dine. You can make reservations for any event in advance or before you board. Royal Caribbean can also arrange group coordination services.

Quantum of the Seas guests can choose from any of the four dining rooms, each with rotating menus. The Dynamic Dining concept was originally a concept introduced by Disney Cruise Line and Norwegian Cruise Line. The idea was rejected by Disney Cruise Line and Norwegian Cruise Line, and it will be discontinued by Anthem by November 2016. Although it started as four different main dining rooms offering different cuisines and then evolved into a rotational system. Table mates rotated through the different restaurants on a nightly basis.

How can I choose the best cruise line?

It's simple to choose the right line of cruise. First, choose the type of cruise that you wish to take. Are you looking for a smaller, intimate cruise or one with many people? Also, think about how much money it is worth. If you are looking at something more affordable, then consider cruises that offer "all inclusive" packages. This means that you will not have to worry about paying extra for food, drinks, entertainment, etc. If you are considering a family cruise, ensure the lines you choose have great programs for children.

How To

How to stay safe while on a cruise ship

Before embarking on your cruise ship journey, there are many important things you should know. So that you don't get in trouble, it is important to know how to behave aboard. Here are some safety tips to help you enjoy your trip.

  1. Be aware of your surroundings at all times. On cruise ships, people often congregate, especially at mealtimes. You're often surrounded by people who are eager to talk and eat. It can be easy to get distracted. You shouldn't allow this to distract you away from the important things you need to do. If you witness someone smoking or drinking alcohol, please tell them politely that they must stop.
  2. You should always keep your roomkey close by you when you board the vessel. They'll be able to find you quickly if you need it. You should also have your passport on you.
  3. Keep valuables out-of-reach Most cabins are equipped with drawers beneath the bed. It's a great spot to store money, passports, and credit cards. Also, make sure nothing valuable is visible in plain view. Your bags should be kept in the closet, so that no one can see them.
  4. Keep hydrated. Although cruise ships offer plenty of water, it can be difficult to remember to drink enough. Make use of the free bottled water provided throughout the ship. Do not become dehydrated. Dehydration can cause fatigue and make it difficult to concentrate, leading to arguments or even accidents.
  5. Always pay attention to announcements. Announcements can be found everywhere including on television screens and on public address systems. They contain safety procedures, emergency exits, weather reports, and more. These announcements are important. They could save your life.
  6. Never leave your cabin unlocked. No matter how friendly or helpful a crewmember may appear, lock your cabin. Thieves are known to break in through doors that are not locked. If you need to use the restroom, ask a crew member for permission first.
  7. Avoid going alone overboard. If you fall overboard, it takes time for the ship's crew to rescue you. Your body could be attracted by sharks or other sea animals. Waiting until help arrives is the best option.
  8. You should not smoke in an elevator. These elevators are pressured, which means smoke can quickly build up. If you feel dizzy and lightheaded, it is best to get out immediately. It doesn't necessarily mean that breathing is safe, even though the outside air is clean.
  9. Learn the evacuation procedure. Each year thousands of people are killed by being stuck in elevators. In an emergency, you should follow the instructions displayed on the screen.
  10. Learn the basics of the fire drill. Fire drills happen regularly, usually once per day. Everyone on deck needs to evacuate during a drill. Follow the instructions given by crew members. Once the drill has been completed, return back to your cabin.
  11. Ask questions before you accept food and drinks. Food poisoning is a common problem among cruisers. Many people don't realize that certain foods aren't safe to eat while onboard a ship. For example, raw oysters are forbidden aboard most cruise ships. If you're unsure whether or not the food you've been offered is safe, politely refuse and look for another meal instead.
  12. When using the pool, be careful. Inadvertently falling into pools has been a frequent occurrence. You should not fall into the pools unless someone spots you. You may also slip and fall on the deck. So always wear proper footwear and pay attention to your surroundings.
